The Alpe Adria Cup 2020 was a huge success

After the EFVL tour was cancelled, we still wanted to organize some real footvolley action. So we introduced the new “Alpe-Adria Cup”.

In this exciting tournament format, teams of 4 players compete against each other and form different pairings throughout the tournament, resulting in varied matches. Besides the Austrian teams, we also hosted a quartet from Croatia. Our guests from Pula could convince with impressive footvolley and fought their way to the final, where they had to admit defeat just 3:2 in sets.

The title went to team Austria 1, which consisted of the newly crowned Austrian champions and two talents: Jakob and Klemens Hofmann-Wellenhof, Alexander Peitler and Stephan Lutz.

Throughout the tournament weekend, children and young people had the opportunity to take their first steps with the yellow and black ball or to further improve their skills at the “Footvolley Experience”.

The Alpe-Adria-Cup in connection with the Footvolley-Experience was a success.
